The expedition was unlike anything the team had attempted. Never before had they faced such treacherous terrain, and seldom did a day pass without an unexpected setback. No sooner had they pitched their tents than a fierce wind tore them down. Not only were supplies running low, but morale was beginning to crumble as well. Only by working together did they manage to reach the summit at last.
