דיבור עקיף — Reported Speech

בדיבור עקיף מוסרים את דברי הזולת בלי ציטוט ישיר, ובדרך כלל מזיזים את הזמן צעד אחד אחורה (present → past, past → past perfect, will → would). משתמשים ב-tell כשמצוין למי נאמר הדבר, וב-say כשלא.

  • He said that he was tired.הוא אמר שהוא עייף.
  • She told me that she had finished.היא אמרה לי שהיא סיימה.

בשאלות עקיפות שומרים על סדר מילים של משפט רגיל (בלי היפוך ובלי do/does). בשאלות כן/לא מוסיפים if או whether. כמו כן משנים כינויי גוף וביטויי זמן (this → that, yesterday → the day before).

  • She asked where I lived.היא שאלה איפה אני גר.
  • He asked if I was ready.הוא שאל אם אני מוכן.

⚠️ Errores comunes de los hispanohablantes

  • שימוש ב-say עם מושא ישיר: "She said me" במקום "She told me" או "She said to me".
  • אי-ביצוע backshift: "He said he is tired" במקום "He said he was tired".
  • שמירה על סדר מילים של שאלה ישירה בשאלה עקיפה: "She asked where do I live" במקום "She asked where I lived".
  • שכחת if/whether בשאלות כן/לא עקיפות: "He asked I was ready" במקום "He asked if I was ready".
  • אי-שינוי כינויי גוף וביטויי זמן: "yesterday" במקום "the day before", "this" במקום "that".
