Futuro perfecto — Future Perfect

  • By 2030 the city will have built a new airport.
  • I will have read the report before the meeting.
  • They will have left by the time we arrive.Ellos ya se habrán ido cuando lleguemos.

Atención a las oraciones temporales: después de by the time, when o before se usa el simple present, no el futuro, aunque el significado sea futuro. Solo en la oración principal aparece will have + V3.

  • By the time you wake up, I will have left.
  • We will have finished before she gets here.Habremos terminado antes de que ella llegue.

⚠️ Errores comunes de los hispanohablantes

  • Usar el simple future en lugar del futuro perfecto: *By Friday I will finish* en lugar de By Friday I will have finished.
  • Usar el simple past en lugar del V3 después de will have: *will have finish* / *will have went* en lugar de will have finished / will have gone.
  • Usar el futuro después de by the time: *By the time he will call* en lugar de By the time he calls (oración temporal en presente).
  • Omitir have: *I will finished by then* en lugar de I will have finished by then.
