Formas de futuro — will y going to
משתמשים ב-will ועוד פועל בסיס להחלטות שמתקבלות ברגע הדיבור, להבטחות והצעות, ולתחזיות כלליות. הצורה זהה לכל הגופים, ובשלילה: will not (ובקיצור won’t).
- It's hot. I will open the window.חם. אני אפתח את החלון.
- I think it will rain tomorrow.אני חושב שירד גשם מחר.
משתמשים ב-be going to ועוד פועל בסיס לתוכניות וכוונות שהוחלטו מראש, וכן לתחזיות המבוססות על סימן הנראה כעת. בונים זאת מ-am/is/are going to.
- We are going to travel to Italy next summer.אנחנו מתכננים לטייל באיטליה בקיץ הבא.
- Look at those clouds! It is going to rain.תראה את העננים האלה! עומד לרדת גשם.
⚠️ Errores comunes de los hispanohablantes
- Usar will para todo tipo de futuro, incluso para planes ya establecidos: "I will travel next week" en lugar de "I am going to travel next week".
- Omitir el auxiliar be en going to: "I going to study" en lugar de "I am going to study".
- Añadir to después de will: "I will to help" en lugar de "I will help".
- Conjugar el verbo después de will/going to: "She will goes" en lugar de "She will go".
