השוואה והפלגה — Comparatives & Superlatives

בהשוואה בין שניים: לתארים קצרים מוסיפים er ואחריהם than (taller than), ולתארים ארוכים משתמשים ב-more שלפניהם (more expensive than). בהפלגה (הדרגה הגבוהה ביותר): the ועוד תואר+est, או the most ועוד תואר.

  • This box is heavier than that one.הקופסה הזו כבדה מזו.
  • It is the most interesting book in the library.זהו הספר המעניין ביותר בספרייה.

לכמה תארים יש צורות חריגות: good → better → the best, ו-bad → worse → the worst. כדי לציין שוויון משתמשים במבנה as ועוד תואר ועוד as.

  • Her English is better than mine.האנגלית שלה טובה משלי.
  • He is as tall as his brother.הוא גבוה כמו אחיו.

⚠️ Errores comunes de los hispanohablantes

  • הוספת more לתואר קצר שכבר קיבל er: *more bigger* / *more taller* במקום bigger / taller.
  • שימוש ב-er לתואר ארוך במקום more: *interestinger* / *expensiver* במקום more interesting / more expensive.
  • השמטת the בצורת ההפלגה: *He is best player* במקום He is the best player.
  • תרגום מילולי של "מ-" בעברית עם from במקום than: *bigger from* במקום bigger than.
  • שימוש בצורות חריגות באופן שגוי: *gooder* / *more good* / *baddest* במקום better / worse / the worst.
  • בלבול במבנה השוויון: *so tall as* / *as tall than* במקום as tall as.
