Komparativ und Superlativ — Comparatives & Superlatives

בהשוואה בין שניים: לתארים קצרים מוסיפים er ואחריהם than (taller than), ולתארים ארוכים משתמשים ב-more שלפניהם (more expensive than). בהפלגה (הדרגה הגבוהה ביותר): the ועוד תואר+est, או the most ועוד תואר.

  • This box is heavier than that one.הקופסה הזו כבדה מזו.
  • It is the most interesting book in the library.זהו הספר המעניין ביותר בספרייה.

לכמה תארים יש צורות חריגות: good → better → the best, ו-bad → worse → the worst. כדי לציין שוויון משתמשים במבנה as ועוד תואר ועוד as.

  • Her English is better than mine.האנגלית שלה טובה משלי.
  • He is as tall as his brother.הוא גבוה כמו אחיו.

⚠️ Häufige Fehler von Deutschsprachigen

  • more zusammen mit einem kurzen Adjektiv mit -er: *more bigger* / *more taller* statt bigger / taller.
  • -er bei langen Adjektiven statt more: *interestinger* / *expensiver* statt more interesting / more expensive.
  • the im Superlativ weglassen: *He is best player* statt He is the best player.
  • from statt than beim Vergleich: *bigger from* statt bigger than.
  • Unregelmäßige Formen falsch bilden: *gooder* / *more good* / *baddest* statt better / worse / the worst.
  • Gleichheitsstruktur verwechseln: *so tall as* / *as tall than* statt as tall as.
