Last spring, Maya and her sister took a night train from Vienna to Prague instead of flying. The ticket cost a little more than a budget flight, but it included a small private cabin with two beds. At first, Maya could not sleep because of the noise and movement of the train. Her sister, on the other hand, fell asleep in ten minutes. Around midnight, Maya gave up on sleeping and went to the dining car, where she drank tea and watched dark villages pass by the window. She finally slept for a few hours and woke up just as the sun was rising over the city. They arrived in the center of Prague at seven in the morning, rested enough and without the stress of an airport. Maya says she will choose the train again, even if it takes longer.
